Getting Back Into It"/>

Having spent the best part of a year modestly saying how easy it is to knock off 100 miles a day for extended periods, I'd forgotten that only works after you've got yourself used to it.

Since the start of the year, I've been working in Stuttgart during the week, and biking to work and back every day (had to; I don't have a car in Germany). It's quite a nice ride, as there are lots of cycle paths here which follow quiet routes away from the road, and it's possible to vary the route a lot depending on the tme available, and the weather of course. I've also done a few circular rides, none of which has been much over 40 miles.

Though given that the terrain is a lot more up and downy here than round Cambridge, that probably equates to a bit more than at home. Let's hope so, anyway....
